A Long Island native, she played her high school golf under head coach Sally Ann Hayes at Longwood High School in Middle Island, NY...A member of the varsity all four years, she was a two-time captain and two-time MVP...In April 2005 she was featured as one of New York Newsday's Top 5 golfers, and in 2006 she finished in 10th place at the New York State Championships...She also garnered a 4th place showing in Suffolk County...Academically, she was awarded with "Rotary Student of the Month" for December 2005 and "Exemplary Achievement in Physical Education"...daughter of Ralph and Agnes Amador, she has a younger sister, Ashley...
