Attended Fremd High School in Palatine, IL and was a four-year player on the varsity team under Carol Plodzien ... Named Third Team All-State as a junior and Second Team All-State as a senior ... A three time All-Conference and two time All-Area selection ... Helped the Vikings to four straight Mid-South League West Championships and a Super Sectional berth in 2001 ... Once blocked 13 shots in a game ... Was a member of the Illinois Lady Thunder that took third at the AAU National Championships ... Also a member of the volleyball team, helping pace the team to a regional title for the first time in 10 years ... Qualified for the state track & field meet in the triple jump ... Solid academically as well, she was recognized by the National Honor Society ... Brother Ryan (27) ran Track and Field for Wisconsin-Madison ... Is majoring in business marketing.
