West Long Branch, NJ - The Wagner men's golf squad finished in sixth place out of six teams competing in the Hawk Invitational today.

Freshman Jeffrey Smolar (Jackson, NJ/Monsignor Donovan) shot an 81 (39/42) - good enough for a 19th-place tie.

Another freshman, Thomas Abramoski (Poughkeepsie, NY/Our Lady of Lourdes) finished closely behind with an 84 (45/39), followed by junior Chris Meehan (Scotch Plains, NJ/Morristown Beard) and freshman Brian Conlan (Highland Milles, NY/John S. Burke Catholic) both with 89's.

Rounding out the Green & White contigent was freshman Connor Popp (Syracuse, NY/Westhill) with a 90.
