11 Prospects Added to Seahawk Football Recruiting Class



Wagner head football coach Walt Hameline and his staff are excited about the 2008 recruiting class, which is excpected to grow in the coming weeks.

Staten Island, NY - Wagner College head football coach Walt Hameline has announced that 11 more student-athletes have elected to attend Wagner and play football for the Seahawks, beginning in Fall, 2008.

With these additions, the recruiting class has swelled to 32 prospects with more expected to be added in the near future.

The 2007 Seahawks went 7-4 with a 3-3 mark in the NEC and produced five All-NEC players, two All-Americans and one ECAC All-Star. On National Signing Day back on Feb. 6, Wagner announced 21 student-athletes who had elected to become Seahawks.

The 2008 campaign will mark Hameline's 28th as head coach and he has an all-time record of 86-97-2 (65.5%).
