E-mail Coach Moriarty
T.J. Moriarty begins his second season at Wagner College where he handles quarterback instruction. He came to Grymes Hill after spending one year as an assistant coach at his alma mater Stony Brook University. Along with his coaching duties, he recruits the Central New Jersey area for the Wagner football program. While at Stony Brook for the 2005 season Moriarty mentored the tight ends and the offensive line of the Seawolves, who captured a share of the Northeast Conference Championship. He starts his third season in the coaching profession after a stellar four-year run at quarterback for Stony Brook. A two-time captain Moriarty earned multiple all-conference and all-American accolades and is one of the top quarterbacks in the program's history. In 2004 Moriarty set a single-season record with 2,495 passing yards and for the second straight season led the NEC in total offense. He ranks second all-time in passing yardage, pass completions, completion percentage and passing touchdowns. A Multidisciplinary major at Stony Brook is a 2001 graduate of Red Bank Catholic where he played quarterback for the Caseys of the Shore Conference. Moriarty is currently pursing his master's degree in Business Administration from Wagner. |
