Jason Houghtaling starts his second season on the Seahawks coaching staff. This season he takes over as the offensive line coach after serving a year as running backs coach in which helped Jason Butler achieve All-NEC status. Houghtaling handles recruiting in the Upstate New York and Florida areas. On top of his daily coaching duties he assists with the daily operations of the Touchdown Club.

Houghtaling brings an extensive coaching resume to Wagner having spent the last two seasons at Milford Academy Prep School guiding the team to a 20-3 record while serving as the Defensive Coordinator. During his stint at Milford in New Berlin, NY, he also oversaw the defensive line and was the Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Previously Houghtaling assisted with the football program working with the offensive and defensive lines at Windsor High School where he roamed the gridiron during his prep school days. His coaching stint at Windsor also included the supervision of the strength and conditioning program.

During his playing days, he was a defensive lineman at Lafayette before injuries cut short his playing career and launched his coaching profession. Houghtaling earned a History degree from Binghamton in 2004 and is currently pursing his master's degree in education at Wagner.
