Jim Gibbons is now in his eighth season on Grymes Hill. In 2005, his first year as the Seahawks offensive coordinator, Wagner set a school record with 4,418 yards gained including 3,332 passing yards. The team led the NEC with 302.9 passing yards per game and finished second in scoring with 26.1 ppg. Gibbons also oversees the coordinating the program's overall recruiting efforts. His personal recruiting ventures concentrate on Northern and Central New Jersey, Northeastern PA and Massachusetts. Prior to Wagner, Gibbons spent two seasons at Northeast Conference rival Sacred Heart University. Before his time at SHU, he was an assistant coach at Yale for the offensive line and tight ends. During the 1995 and 1996 seasons, Gibbons headed up the offensive line at Sacred Heart. In addition to his on field duties, he was responsible for the strength and conditioning program. Gibbons spent his playing days as a member of the Sacred Heart University football team from 1991-94, including two seasons as the team's captain. He is currently single and resides in Boonton, NJ. . |
