Dan Conley enters his third year at Wagner and 12th season as a collegiate-coach. In 2006, Conley moved to the defensive line and serves as the Special Teams Coordinator. Two years ago, Conley coached the Linebacker-unit and All-NEC selection Craig Romano. Also in 2005 he oversaw the Special Teams unit, including the punt unit that ranked 13th in Division I-AA, and standout and Second Team All Conference selection Piotr Czech (Punter / Kicker)

Conley's recruiting areas are New England, Western PA and Texas.

As a collegiate player, Conley was a two-time All-Big East First Team honoree and a Pre-Season Football Digest First Team All-American at Syracuse University. Conley was nominated twice for the Butkus Award during his years at Syracuse. During Conley's "Sixth" season (NCAA granted a sixth year due to injury) ESPN selected Dan as their "Comeback Player of the Year." As a senior he was selected by his teammates as team-captain. He finished his illustrious playing career at Syracuse as Captain of the North Squad the 1995 Hula Bowl in Hawaii. In 1999, Conley was selected to SU's All-Century Team. The All-Century committee selected the top 44 players of all time at Syracuse and included legends such as Jim Brown, Ernie Davis, Floyd Little, Larry Czonka, Marvin Harrison and John Mackey. A 1995 graduate, Conley earned his bachelor's degree in environmental design.

Conley resides in Staten Island with his wife Jennifer and two sons, Zakary 4 and Thomas John "TJ" 2.
