For the weekend against the Rams, he went 6-14 with four runs and four RBI and was named Gotham Baseball Magazine Rookie of the Week... Helped the Green & White to 7-5 win at UMBC going 2-5 with a triple ... Hit safely in all three games at William & Mary (3/31-4/1) ... Ripped two hits against Lafayette (3/29) ... Went 2-4 with a RBI and stolen base in win at LIU (4/5) ... Ripped a two-run double at Quinnipiac (4/21) ... Hit .296 with runners in scoring position and had five multi-hit games.

Played his prep ball at Monsignor Farrell High School under the direction of Bob Mulligan ... Earned two varsity letters ... As a senior, helped the Lions to an 18-2 overall record, including a perfect 16-0 ledger during the regular season ... His squad outscored opponents 178-25 and included five D-1 baseball players ... Was a Staten Island Advance All Star and a First Team All-Catholic League selection ... Won the Farrell "Heart of a Lion" award after hitting .404 ... Also earned three letters in football ...
