John Knudson, a 1996 Wagner Hall of Fame Inductee, has been associated with Seahawk Athletics since 1959 when he became the head athletic trainer. Knudson then went on to be a Head Coach, Professor in the Physical Education Department and an Assistant Athletic Director. Knudson retired from Wagner in 1989 but still has remained heavily involved with the Wagner Hall of Fame. He was instrumental in the development of the Hall of Fame and has been one of its Chairman since it was established in 1988. Knudson currently lives with his wife, Edith in Staten Island, NY.
